Heart Buckle Shoes

Sarah wrote me an email with lots of info about these shoes, so I’m just going to copy and paste it here:

These shoes are called “Heart Buckle Shoes.” They are from the Japanese brand “Baby, The Stars Shine Bright” (English ordering instructions here). They are currently 100% sold out in all black though. They cost about $160 (before shipping) with the current exchange rate.

A replica has been made by a company called Body Line and their website is in english and easier to buy from for those that aren’t comfortable navigating an all-Japanese site. The replicas are $35 (before shipping). The exact match to Hayley’s pair are “SHOES129″. They are also available in other colors and patent/matte materials. I can vouch for the quality of both and they are the same when compared side to side (I own both the Baby ones and the Body Line ones).

Wow, that’s amazing! I pretty much died when I saw this. I’m a follower of the lolita (no ties to Nabokov’s novel: it’s a Japanese street fashion that idolizes femininty and modesty) style, and BABY, the Stars Shine Bright is a very famous brand! I’m so happy! ^_^
