At the Leeds festival in the UK yesterday August 29, 2010, Hayley wore this DIY-ed outfit. It’s the same belt, custom pants, and Nike post-match sneakers (sold out) that she has been wearing for the Honda Civic Tour, but with the addition of gloves that she cut the fingers off of and a t-shirt that she cut up and screen-printed with her catchphrase B.O.Y. (explained in the weekly update).
Hayley’s DIY t-shirts generally have a sloppy look to them, and this is no exception, but what makes it work is her attitude. In all of the photos I’ve seen from Leeds, Hayley looks like such a badass. It requires confidence to pull off this sort of look, and Hayley definitely has it. I think what fans should pull away from Hayley’s style isn’t wanting their own B.O.Y. t-shirt, it’s the ability to go against the grain and look good doing it.
i totally agree that the way to really channel Hayley’s look is to go against the grain in your own way and look good doing it. i do find her fashion very inspirational though and B.O.Y’s meaning is beautiful. my DIY t-shirts tend to say things like ‘Mainstreams Go Die.’ Er… i never wore that one. I felt a bit mean.

Loving this outfit. It is definitly her. I’m not so sure about some of the things she’s worn lately. But, I love this so much.
this is not what she wore at leads. she wore those army boots & a lepord print jacket.
i love hayleys style and i love the boy message..
but the gloves are a bit too emo for her.
but other than that, everything is great :D
she must have taken off the jacket and changed shoes during the show cuz its pretty much the same outfit.
i dont really like her gloves, they make her look emo. but she can wear what ever she wants, it’s her body :)
In the last (9) Rock Sound picture I can see Hayleys new ear piercing, little light blue spot earring lol.

also she’s wearing the gloves because it was freezing, she came on in a huge puffy coat at leeds and then took it off during ignorance

Paramore played at Reading on the 29th, and played Leeds on the 27th. Just to let you know :D. And this is the exact outfit she wore at Reading. I don’t know what she wore at Leeds though. But Paramore were amazing at Reading! And she was amazing when she performed Stay With Me with You Me At Six!
@lyns, i didn’t go to reading, but the outfit she wore there was the same as the one she wore at leeds, except with different shoes

does anyone else hate the direction Hayley’s style has taken since paramore went on tour with no doubt? Hayley used to have an impeccable sense of style now she just looks like a confused 15 year old who hasn’t quite figured out what look she’s going for…
