For today’s MTV European Music Awards, Hayley went for a futuristic look with silver lipstick and silver eyeliner swept above her eyes. She’s wearing a new pair of knee-high combat boots, and an outfit she designed herself – the blouse is the black version of the white top that she wore backstage at the VMAs in September. This is the first good look that we’ve gotten of Hayley’s pink hair, which she wore in messy tousled waves.
I’ll admit my first reaction when I saw this outfit was “what on earth is she wearing?” But once I got past the initial shock, I actually quite like this outfit. She went for something really outrageous but still kept it fashionable, unlike the rebellious teenager look of the 2008 VMAs, which most people regard as a disaster.

I dont like her makeup, in the 3rd picture its looks like her teeth are grey/silver, but i like the outfit, very ‘hayley’. but she still looks good and as long as she liked it and is happy thats all thats matters AND THEY WON!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love everything except for the makeup.. it makes her look much older than she is. It might grow on me though. :) Good on her for doing something different though!
Well, this is certainly different :D I think that if the makeup had been different I would have liked it a lot more, but then it wouldn’t be 100% Hayley. I ADORE her pink hair, which is a nice change from red. She manages to pull it off though, and her outfit is pretty amazing! Speaking of amazing, has anyone checked out Jeremy’s eyes?
This just doesn’t look like Hayley…I still love her but she’s been wearing some really weird things lately. I love the boots and dress though! I definitely don’t like the make-up or hair. But idk, maybe it’s just because I don’t like hot pink as hair. I think a darker color lipstick would look better. Anyways, this is all about HAYLEY and if she likes it, good for her :)
She looks like a tacky tramp. I miss the younger Hayley. She always wore stuff that looked right on her, and that flattered her, without makeing her look like a slut. Lately she’s been seeming like she’s trying to mature, or look more sexy. And what about her Christian faith? Does this even fit into those standards? I don’t know. I just feel Hayley has started to change to much, whether she is makeing a purposeful effort to or not. ):

I don’t like her outfit, but not because it looks “sluty” because it doesn’t…she’s not showing any skin. And I don’t think she’s trying to mature, I think she is actually maturing. She’s not 17 anymore, she’s 21. And what does her being Christian have to do with anything? She’s not wearing anything that would make me think “Oh hey, she’s a Christian, Jesus isn’t going to like that she’s wearing that!”

I’m not a big fan of the outfit, but I love the hair and make-up. And I really liked the 2008 VMAs! Her hair looked amazing on her, but I guess that’s just me.

i had to stop and think about this, but heres my thought… i keep thinking, ‘aw, i miss the old hayley,’ too, but you gotta think… She still usually dresses “classic hayley-ish” when shes on stage. She doesn’t wear this stuff often, and when she does, its at big events, and just for the hell of it! Shes still the same hayley, I mean, its just clothes and makeup!

I really like the outfit. It took a bit for me to get used to but now I really like it haha. She kind of looks like a futuristic soldier. An outfit you’d see in a movie about the end of the world and people having to fight for themselves. lol.
Her makeup though…it kind of makes her look old :/ I mean, it goes good with her outfit and hair but it just makes her look like she’s in her 30s :/
