I have darkish brown hair and when I dyed it red and purple it went really nice and bright (with Directions dye btw), I left it in for about 6 hours and it’s lasted for more than a month (washing every 2 or 3 days).

okay. to all of you wanting any of hayley’s hair colours. ive had ALL of them. so i know what to do.
so i will give you guys a word document with everything ive learnt. i would post it here but i’m too lazy to type it all up now.

please note that i am NOT a hairdresser, what i am telling you is what i have experienced with my blonde hair. always talk to your parents and a hairdresser if before you do it. seriously

Reading theese comments made me think a bit before dying my hair thanks!
I have like golden dark blonde hair that gets lighter in summer and i also gets really tan verry fast! So i don’t know if i would fit in red hair but i really wanna do it!!
Also, i go swimming at least tre Times a week so i have to wash my hair more often than i should if i dye my hair.
I Love paramore so so much and i LOVE this website!!!

Hiya! I have naturally redish orange hair (yeh, i’m a ginge) and I was thinking of doing it SUPER red.. I was wondering if I should bleach it first or just go?

Why does everyone wear sunscreen? Everyone that wants pale skin wears it, but don’t you end up kinda smellin like the beach? (questions that will probably never be answered but still)

if your hair is brunette then red will come out auburny the first time but will get redder if you keep dying it that color. If your hair is blonde or dirty blonde the red will come out similar to the look on the box, or the color it should be. If you want to get rid of red then its easier to move to a brown that matches the brightness or darkness of the red, when its brown you can choose the next color you’d like to have. Going from red to orange you shud gradually change to that shade to get the color you want in the end.
