Wavy Hair
Hayley’s hair has a slight natural wave to it, so to get the loose waves in the Warped Tour photos, probably all she did was put mousse in it while it was wet and scrunch it. To get ringlets like the MTV New Year’s performance, your best bet is a curling iron.

straighteners can work good too!! then you dont get the crappy little crinkle at the ends of your hair from where the curler’s clipped your hair down =D

You can usually get good curls if you twist sections of your hair into little buns/coils, then leave them for about an hour-ish, then undo them.

I think the wavy hair from warped is just what my hair looks like when I braid it while it’s still wet, so I’m guessing thats’s probably what she did as well

One day I had the sorta random wave look she has in a few pix. What i did was put random pieces of 2-day-old, straightened hair into twists or braids, in radom sizes and places. I took it out the next morning, re-straightend some hair, then crimped my hair a bit and put in some lose, raggedy curls (all with my straightner). It looked pretty rad!

For Emily: lighten it to medium brown, then use developer and color enhancer. If your hair is the same length that hayleys is most of the time, then go to Sally’s hair supplies and get:
-two packages of ion color brilliance in medium intense red blonde
-number 40 developer
-clariol color intensifier for red hair
-if you want it to stay in, get special shampoo for red hair. Try Quantum riveting reds.
-I suggest getting it done professionally for best results.

@haylea, not unless you scrunch it. if you just put it in there, it wont do much at all. so you’d need to scrunch it or braid it, then take the braids out :)

to get the hair in the second row, 2nd and 3rd picture:
I am a hair stylist, so I do this on a daily basis. Haha.
you can get these curls by not putting your hair between the plates of the curling iron. that way, you don’t get creases! start from the root of the hair, and wrap it around the barrel until you get to the tip of the hair. hold it for a few seconds. (the longer you hold it, the tighter the curl.) then release. repeat in different directions for a more natural wave.
(you can hold the hair around the barrel for a longer amount of time to get taylor swift curls.)

I luv the second row, second picture.. Does anyone know how to get it like that without using a curling iron? I do own a straightener, but the plates are really broad. So if i try it with that my waves get too big so they fall all straight again.
and P.S does anyone know where the second row 2nd pic was token? bcuz i would like to see a vid of that or somethin.. she looks amazing there

hayleyrules,i think you can only do that look with a curling iron. but…. you could try using a brush and a straightner. first use the straightner like a curling iron. and then curl the brush just like the straightner. if u dont get it ill try to explain it simpler.(im not saying that ur dumb. it just might be a lil confusing) ill even try it to see if it works

i have some other hair styles that you guys might like!!!!!!!!! but i have to know th e length of your hair and if you can buy the certain products!!!!!!!!!! you can find them at wal mart!!!!!!!! the one product that i use alot is leave in conditoner,and this thing called sleek seerem and it says colour prism on it,thats what i use to style my hair.

@ CRYSTA: Just 2 let u know, every 1 puts their hair after a shower cuz it drys slower and gives u more time 2 get out tangles. straighteners work better 2 get wavey hair. how do i know? i had 2 have my hair like this 4 skool pics. just know im not saying ur wrong… but just correcting u, k?

To get my hair like that all I have to do is take a shower, wash with shampoo and conditionor, add leave in conditionor when I get out, and let it air dry. O_O Awsome! xD

if your hair is kind of wavy, just try scrunching sometime with moose or hair gel or blow dry it. That, or you can braid it before you go to bed :]
You could always try using a curling iron or a straightener too.

for the third row second pic style,its easiest if your have layered hair. if you want to do it while wet,ignore the top shorter layers of your hair and then braid your under layers and mousse them.then when dry straighten the top layers

@emm: Hayley has a slight wave to her hair, so yeah she probably does straighten it. i have REALLY thick curly hair naturally and i have a fringe too, i think your best bet is to straighten it, but not everyday.. also, make sure you get a really good heat protection product and conditioner to keep your hair from looking like straw =]
