I wish my parents would let me get my hair dyed. I’d DEFINANTLY pull a Hayley. Lol. But there excuse is “You have such pretty blonde hair!!!! So many people pay alot of money to get that color!” *rolls eyes* I hate my hair. I think that’s just a cover up so I don’t go out and dye it some funky color like neon pink or something, lol. dude… the third pic in the first row, I love that hair style. the color really suits hayley too. I’ve got a question about it though… I want my hair to look like that. the style, not the color.

does anybody know if that hair cut has a name? I know its a lot of layers and could be a razor cut, but I got my hair cut a few months ago with a similar style but it doesn’t look like I expected. I’ve tried using a ton of styling products like big sexy hair volumizing mousse and rusk define texturizing pomade which is cool but isn’t doing the job I thought it would… basically I’m looking for anything that can make my hair look really textured and just like hayley’s in that pic. anybody got any suggestions? let me know pleeease!

@Amy -
I actually have this hair style right now, so what I do is ask for short side bangs and TONS and TONS of choppy layers, and also choppy layers around my face ! (If you want it around your face)
Anyways!

First -I style it by using a round brush (like a medium size) and when my hair is damp by towel drying (after I get outta the shower of course, duh!) I use the rounded brush and curl my bangs by using a blow dryer. I curl them by like picking up with my fingers ONLY my bangs and then placing it on the brush and keep on like curling it in (by moving the brush constantly) this give them volume I also flat iron them so it’s not too much volume!

Second- Now this is kinda wierd, but it works for me LOL so after I’m done with my bangs I take my hair like i’m going to put it in a ponytail, but put it in a very very very low one! ( down by ur neck! as low as it can get) and while ur hairs in a ponytail take some of the short layers out around your whole head (yeah this is soo confusing ha ha Just take the shortest layers you have styled in your hair out of the very low ponytail(: !)
Ok, now flip you head upside down and with a normal brush just blowdry your hair staight while still upside down, but by still giving it volume at the roots!

Third- I just take the rest of my hair outta the very low ponytail and let it dry naturally without a blowdryer ( to not use too much heat on your hair! )
After your hair is dry I use a heat protecter on my hair by CHI and then I flat iron my hair all over but not the top if you don’t want as much volume (like me) you can, but DON’T flat iron the roots!

Fourth- Yeah that’s pretty much it! I don’t use any special product in my hair and it works pretty good! Also, another tip it will help to give more volume to ur hair by when ever your in the shower and after you shampoo your hair make sure you condition it but don’t rub the conditioner into your roots just pat it like!

kayleigh you do not get battered for having gingery- orange hair, i’ve done my hair the neon orange and yellow and went to school, and ive survived. ive done every color on my hair, and i never got battered lol.this hair color is pretty much just a vivid ginger, and would look nice on tanned skin :)

I’ve had this color, I had an auburn/dark red, and i tried to go blonde…btw i was stupid then, and thought it wouldn’t be a problem. I bleached it twice, and it turned out like this. I liked it, a lot!

I have a question. I am going to dye my hair this color. I’m 13, got my mum to go with semi – permanent! I have light brown hair and I was wondering should I bleach it first? Will it be that color if I don’t bleach it? And if I do bleach it will the color completely fade or with my hair always be a bit orange? Thanks! If you want to dye your hair that colour (and you’re not already blonde) get a manic panic orange (though I definitely WOULDN’T reccomend Napalm Orange) and put it over UNBLEACHED hair. I suggest Tiger Lily and it’s the least bright. If you do have blond/very light/bleached hair then dye your hair a light brown and put Tiger Lily over the top. Well, that’s what I would do. Tell me to shut up if you want.

No offense molly, but dying your hair at that age is kinda trashy. Sorry, but it’s true. It also damages your hair when your older, because the harsh chemicals really get into your hair. And later on by the time your 18 your hair will become shallow and will fall out in clumps if you keep dying your hair.
