Metallic Silver Shorts

Hayley Williams and silver lame shorts from Tripp

Back in May, I posted about the “Milk Kills” tee and silver lamé overalls that Hayley wore from designer Jeremy Scott‘s Fall/Winter 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection, but they were never made available for purchase. (If you are one of the few that can afford Jeremy Scott, see the list below for stores selling other pieces from the collection).

Now Tripp NYC, another brand that Hayley has worn a lot, are selling a pair of Silver Metallic Short Shorts for $29.50 at Hot Topic. It’s not overalls, but it’s close! The Hot Topic website has styled them similarly to Hayley, showing them worn over black tights.

Paramore B.O.Y. Tank Top

Hayley Williams Beware Of You tank top
Hayley Williams BOY tank top

Paramore and Fueled By Ramen have started selling their own version of the teal B.O.Y. tank top which Hayley wore during Paramore’s South American tour this February. They’ve done a good job of replicating all of the details of Hayley’s homemade top including the line of stitching across the front and the high-cut back.

If you aren’t familiar with “Beware Of You,” abbreviated “B.O.Y.,” it is a phrase that Hayley came up with to mean that you are your own worst enemy and that you are in control of your own success or failure (read more about the meaning here). “Beware Of You” is written three times on the back of the tank while “B.O.Y.” is written in large letters on the front. The back of the tank also features three black bars — a symbol of Paramore’s current three-member incarnation.

You can buy this tank for $25.00 in Paramore’s merch store or you can try your hands at making your own version which scissors and a Sharpie. Hayley made hers from an American Apparel Tri-Blend Racerback Tank.

Hayley Williams Shows Off Her Undercut

Hayley Williams undercut Hayley Williams shaved head sidecut Hayley Williams shaved hairstyle

Hayley Williams shaved the hair on the right side of her head! She did it just over a week ago, and it was noticed by some fans who attended New Found Glory’s show on October 29th, but these are the first pictures to surface. Unfortunately they are black and white so I don’t know about the color yet. This hairstyle is known as an undercut or sometimes a sidecut.

I’m not exactly a fan of how it looks in a ponytail, but I’ll reserve judgement until I see it with her hair down and parted to the side. It’s not the worst thing she’s done, I’ll save that dubious honor for the thankfully short-lived red and purple combo she sported back in 2008.

Monster Music Video Dress

Hayley Williams Monster dress

While in New York for Paramore’s performance at the FBR15 concert, Hayley Williams attended a NYFW show for designer Rachel Antonoff. She wore a few of Rachel’s pieces at that show, which I will post about shortly, but the more exciting thing is that it led me to look through her Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, where I found Hayley’s dress from the “Monster” music video! Hayley has had the dress altered so that bow is in the front. I have not found this dress for sale anywhere, but you can check out more photos below. Continue reading

Paramore Perform New Song ‘Renegade’

During Paramore’s performance in New York City last night for their label Fueled By Ramen’s 15th anniversary concert, the band played a brand new song “Renegade.”

“Renegade” was one of four songs that Paramore recorded in March 2011 with producer Rob Cavallo. The songs were initially intended to be released as an EP, but will instead be released individually online. The first of the set to see an official release was “Monster,” which was featured on the soundtrack to Transformers: Dark of the Moon. An acoustic video of Hayley and Taylor playing another new song “In The Mourning” was released on Paramore.net back in January, shortly after the song was written and before it had been studio recorded. It has since become a regular part of Paramore’s setlist, although the final recording has not been released. That leaves only one song still completely unheard.

No release date for the studio version of “Renegade” has been announced, but Hayley says “we will be putting [it] online for you to have as soon as possible, as soon as we can, we’re working on it.”

Other highlights from the FBR15 performance include an acoustic rendition of “My Heart” and a special mashup of “In The Mourning” with Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.”
