Tights are one of the staples of Hayley’s wardrobe, as she rarely wears shorts or skirts without some sort of hosiery underneath. During the 2006 Warped Tour, one of Hayley’s signature outfits was black shorts with bright tights, mostly solid colored. Around the time of Riot’s release, she went for bold and bright patterns. This phase was short-lived, and in the fall of 2007 she began wearing sheer tights with textured patterns. Recently Hayley has been moving towards a bright and colorful look once again, but this time mostly with leggings, often worn as pants with longer tops.
Hayley loves to layer her hoisery. She wears socks over tights, sheer patterns over solid colors, and she wears one leg of one pair of tights over another pair. She famously did this in the music video for “Misery Business” where she wears one leg of solid red tights on top of her yellow zebra tights.
